Who processes your data
ParkeerBetaalbaar manages this site, including the pages of the parking locations where you reserve a space. We determine which data the forms on this site ask for and for what purpose. For what this site itself collects, we are therefore the controller.
ParkeerBetaalbaar
Prinses Margrietlaan 1

Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number 87342073
Questions about your data, and requests for access, rectification or erasure, should be sent to hallo@parkeerbetaalbaar.nl.
If you request a revenue scan
When you request a revenue scan, we process your name, email address, telephone number if provided and the name of your car park, together with the data you enter in the calculator and the result that follows from it. We also record through which advertisement or website you reached us: the click ID of the advertisement, the UTM parameters from the link, the page on which you arrived and the previous website. We use this solely to respond to your request and to call or email you about your revenue potential.
To block too many requests in quick succession, we count how many requests come in per IP address. For this purpose, we store a fingerprint (hash) of your IP address in our database, in which the address itself cannot be read. We delete that count afterwards.
If you reserve a parking space
When you reserve a parking space via this site, we process your email address, your name if you provide it, the location and the time slot you choose, the amount and the outcome of the payment. From this data we create the reservation and send you the confirmation with the access code and the invoice for your payment. That invoice shows the details of your reservation, such as your name. We also store the language in which you made your reservation; we send you the emails about your reservation in that language.
We do not ask for your telephone number: you receive your confirmation by email. We do not ask for your vehicle registration number, and for a new reservation we do not process it either: you enter with the QR code from your confirmation. If you reserved with us earlier, at a time when we did ask for the registration number, the registration number you gave then is still stored with that reservation.
When you reserve, we count per IP address and per email address how many spaces and requests are in progress. This prevents anyone from holding spaces without paying, or from sending too many requests in quick succession. For this purpose, we store a fingerprint (hash) of your IP address and your email address in our database, with the reservation for which they are counted. The data itself cannot be read from that fingerprint. When you view your reservation, cancel it or have the confirmation resent, we likewise count the number of requests per IP address. We delete those counts afterwards.
If you arrive via an advertisement or a link with UTM parameters, we also store the origin of that click with your reservation: the click ID of the advertisement (gclid) and the UTM parameters from the link. This shows us through which advertisements or websites reservations come in. If you request erasure, we delete that origin together with your other data.
The following parties receive data from your reservation:
- The operator of the parking location, currently that of Parking Valkenier in Valkenburg, and its barrier supplier IP Parking. They receive your email address, your name if you provide it, the time slot, your reservation reference and the parking fee you paid, so that the reservation is in the barrier system and the barrier opens for your access code. The operator can also see its reservations in its own overview with us.
- MultiSafepay, which handles the payment. It receives the amount and your reservation reference. You enter your payment details directly with MultiSafepay; they do not reach us.
- Resend, which sends the confirmation email with your access code and your invoice and, if you cancel, the emails about your cancellation. For this purpose, Resend processes your email address and the content of those emails.
- Supabase and Vercel, where the database and the website of this platform run. See below for where that is.
Why we may process this data
We process your request because you send it yourself and want a response: without your data, we cannot prepare the revenue scan or send you the result. If you would also like to receive our other messages, the form asks for this separately. We store that choice with your request, and you can withdraw it at any time by email, without this affecting the handling of your request itself.
We process your reservation because you place it and pay for it yourself. Without your email address, we cannot send you the access code, and without the data held by the operator and IP Parking, the barrier will not open for you.
Exactly which legal basis applies to which processing operation, and what role each party plays in it, is part of the legal review that has yet to take place. The above describes what this site actually does today.
Cookies and analytics
We only place analytics and marketing cookies with your consent. You choose what you allow via the cookie banner, and you can change that choice later via ‘Cookie preferences’ at the bottom of the page.
To see how our site is used and what our campaigns achieve, we use Google Analytics 4 from Google. Google Analytics only loads after you have clicked ‘Accept all’ in the cookie banner, and never on the pages where you view your reservation, log in, reset a password or use a portal. Without your consent, it places no cookies and nothing is sent to Google. With your consent, Google Analytics sets the cookie _ga containing a random number for your browser; it remains for at most two years, or less if you delete it. Google receives your IP address, but Google Analytics 4 does not store it: it is only used to determine an approximate location and is then discarded. Google Analytics retains the data linked to your browser for fourteen months.
If you make a reservation after giving your consent, our server sends the amount, the reservation reference, the location and that random number of your browser to Google Analytics at the time of payment and of any refund, so that we can see the revenue of a campaign. Never your name, email address, telephone number or access code. If you withdraw your consent via ‘Cookie preferences’, we will no longer measure your subsequent visits.
To see which advertisements lead to a reservation, we use Google Ads conversion tracking. It only loads after you have clicked ‘Accept all’ in the cookie banner; without your consent, it places no cookies and nothing is sent to Google Ads. If you arrive via a Google advertisement, Google Ads stores, with your consent, the number of that click in cookies whose names begin with _gcl_. If you then make a reservation, your browser reports the amount and the reservation reference to Google Ads once after payment, from the page of your reservation, after we have removed the access key from the address of that page. Never your name, email address, telephone number or access code. Google receives your IP address and information about your browser in the process.
What is stored on your device, however: your cookie choice, if you make one, and, if you arrive via an advertisement or a link, the origin of that click for the duration of your visit. We only send that origin along when you submit the request form for the revenue scan or reserve a parking space.
Your language choice is also stored on your device. If you choose a language with the language selector, or choose or close the bar that suggests another language to you, we remember that choice in the functional cookie pb_taal. This cookie remains for one year and is used for nothing other than your language choice. Because it is strictly functional, we do not ask for your consent for it.
The page of a parking location contains an embedded Google map. Your browser loads that map directly from Google. When the map loads, Google receives your IP address and information about your browser, and Google may place its own cookies. What Google does with this is determined by Google itself. The route button on that page and the route link in the confirmation email open Google Maps with only the destination of the location, without your reservation.
Where your data is stored
We store your request and your reservation in a database at Supabase, in a region within the European Union. This platform’s set-up script only creates a new database in a region within the European Union.
This website runs on Vercel, which serves the pages and receives your forms and reservations. The servers that process those requests are located in Stockholm, Sweden; this is fixed in the configuration of this platform. Vercel may also serve the pages themselves from other locations in its network.
We use Resend to send email. This site sends the confirmation email for a reservation and, if you cancel, the emails about your cancellation; the request form for the revenue scan does not send any message.
We do not sell your data. It goes to no one other than the parties named on this page; this includes Google, via the embedded map on the page of a parking location.
Retention period & your rights
How long we keep a request has not yet been determined. There is currently no automatic deletion of requests, so a request remains until we delete it. As soon as the period has been set, the number of months will be stated here.
No period has been set for the data of a reservation either, and this data is not deleted automatically. If you request erasure, we delete from your reservation your name, your email address and, if present, a telephone number or registration number. We keep the amount, the payment and the reservation reference, because they belong in our accounts. The operator, IP Parking and MultiSafepay have their own copy of what they received; they determine how long they keep it.
You have the right to access your data, to have it rectified and to have it erased, and you can object to its use. To do so, email hallo@parkeerbetaalbaar.nl.
If you disagree with the way we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, the Dutch Data Protection Authority, via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
